The Solution
We designed, delivered and facilitated a 2-day bespoke workshop for the Sales Leadership Team. This provided an opportunity to formulate and communicate the strategy to their own sales force in a motivating and engaging way. The workshop offered a perfect balance with the integration of a fun and engaging team building experience, whilst still challenging the group to think about how they can best communicate the strategy.
We sourced one of only three purpose-built cookery schools in the country this provided a great environment to conduct an off-site workshop and host an enjoyable evening with luxurious accommodation.
Working closely with the head chef we developed an engaging and rewarding cookery experience. An experience that enabled the team to relax and bond, working together to create a meal that they would then share and enjoy together.
On the second day of the workshop it was down to business. The day started with engisers to relax the group. Our facilitator then assessed how these managers currently communicated the key strategy to their teams and encouraged them to reflect on their management and motivation styles.
With change being a real focus with this group, our facilitator challenged them to discuss big change processes in their own lives that have been both managed well and not so well, evaluating why that was so.
Leading into the afternoon session, the importance of 'Emotional Intelligence' in communicating and leading people effectively' was openly discussed. The group was encouraged to provide each other with honest and open feedback about individual styles. This process provided them with tangible material to take away and implement into their everyday working lives and pass on to their teams.
