10/4: Ten years of solutions for the Big Four

When a major professional services firm wanted to launch its ground-breaking awards programme who did they turn to? When two major accountancy firms wanted to find new and innovative ways of deepening client relationships, who was there to assist? And when another of the Big Four wanted to get the best from their staff using the latest in video technology, who made it happen?

UpStage, that’s who.

Over the past ten years the Big Four have turned to UpStage time and again for creative, dynamic and effective communication solutions. And we’ve delivered every time, placing us at the forefront of agencies providing support and assistance to professional service firms.

From nationwide awards programmes and major internal comms projects to highly focussed client engagement campaigns, UpStage has created bespoke activity that moves, engages and inspires. What’s more important: our solutions achieve results.

Take a major demand generation awards ceremony for example. With no footprint in the UK, the programme needed to capture the imagination of entrepreneurs – and do it fast. On top of that, six individual awards ceremonies – ranging from 300 to 1,000 guests each– had to be organised and delivered each year to a standard befitting this prestigious scheme. By delivering on all aspects – and through our creative contribution – not only was the first year a storming success, UpStage won the business for a further six years.

But the goal wasn’t just to produce slick awards ceremonies – the goal was to enable our clients to leverage this programme to position itself as a trusted partner for entrepreneurial businesses of all descriptions. Through the programme, our client reached tens of thousands of UK companies in a highly focussed and strategic way – highlighting the unique services only E&Y could offer.

Building on this success, we were asked to create a new vehicle from which to engage with prospects in a far more targeted environment for their IPO Retreat series. We created the right environment for CEOs and FDs of fast-growing entrepreneurial companies to see if an IPO was the right move for them. By exploring in detail the challenges of an IPO we were able to really bring the IPO journey to life over a three-day period.
